Print Ad Innovation for Lifebuoy

LOWE wanted to do a MAD magazine like fold-in illustration for Lifebuoy. The idea was to highlight the core message recently adopted for their marketing campaign showing the benefits of Lifebuoy against 10 kinds of germs. The brief was to come up with something which when folded reveals the Lifebuoy brand. The ad was aimed at kids and their moms and to walk-away from a traditional full-page magazine ad.

The initial idea was very simple and centered around a single character. But slowly as the concept moved ahead, a lot of details got into the illustration. This was one of those instances where copy followed the art to support it. Needless to say the final product came out nothing like what i genrally do, but it was an immensely fun project.

Unfortunately, due to the clog that is marketing and management, this ad never got to print.
