Greenwich Blues

This was a quick two-pager done for a pitch project. The story follows life of Mickey, a lost teenager who struggles to become one the most successful businessman in the Middle-East amidst grave personal tragedy and hardships.

Based on a real person, who is now in his late fifties, I had to imagine him in his teenage years as no reference images from that period were provided. Later the Art Director on the project, and a close friend, pointed out that the character I imagined looked a lot like myself. Either, subconsciously, I wish to be as successful as he is; or it might just be that I look like someone from the seventies.

Analogue Life

This is a piece i finished today. In a way, its a dedication to Geof Darrow who has been quite an inspiration. I love his attention to detail and from his art you can see how much he enjoys it. Also, you’ll notice how subtly he hides messages in the most inanimate objects in the background.
